Recreation area to be built at Brocklehurst

A village to the north of Dubbo will be provided with a new green space and recreational area as part of the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Program. Slashed licence fees a big win for businesses

Up to 200,000 licence holders operating across the trades and construction sectors will not have to pay up to $50 million worth of licence fees, thanks to the NSW Government. Lighting to be added to Glen Willow precinct

The Glen Willow sporting precinct in Mudgee will be improved, with nine lighting poles to be installed along a pathway leading the complex. Burrendong Dam critical pump project on standby

The NSW Government has today confirmed the installation of a WaterNSW drought emergency pump in Burrendong Dam. The pump will be used to supply remnant water out of the Dam in the event of critically low dam levels. The pump network and associated operational apparatus has been constructed and commissioned – part of a $6.7million project that adds 16 gigalitres of precious additional town supply to communities in the drought-affected Macquarie valley. The epic rise of women’s sport will include Gulgong after Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders announced funding for amenities at Billy Dunn Oval. Wellington PCYC to become a safer place

Much-needed work will be done to the roof of Wellington PCYC, thanks to funding through the NSW Government’s popular Community Building Partnerships program.
