Narromine Courthouse is receiving its second makeover in as many years, with a new roof being installed. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the $80,000 upgrade will deliver a boost for the region’s economy. “Aboriginal owned-and-operated firm Dice Contracting is delivering the project and has engaged a local roofer,” Mr Saunders said. “The new roof and guttering will be fully installed by the end of the month and will help ensure justice continues to be delivered in Narromine in a safe and well-maintained courthouse.” The project comes just 12 months after the NSW Government invested $5,000 in repainting …

Dubbo to receive a dedicated drug court

More people eligible as Regional Seniors Travel Card gets two-year extension

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed a move to extend and expand the very popular Regional Seniors Travel Card program. It was announced on Wednesday that the program, which allows eligible seniors access to a pre-paid $250 VISA card for use on pre-booked NSW Trainlink Regional trains and coaches, fuel and taxis, will run for another two years after an initial two-year trial in 2020 and 2021. Wiradjuri Garden project officially opened

Stage 1 of the Wiradjuri Garden project in Dubbo has opened, with Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders joining representatives from Dubbo Regional Council and local Aboriginal groups for the occasion. The NSW Government will provide $8,211 for upgrades at Trangie Showground as part of the latest round of the COVID-19 showground stimulus program.
