One of the NSW Government’s key pre-election commitments will be rolled out in the coming weeks, with regional seniors able to apply for the $250 Regional Seniors Travel Card from Wednesday, 29 January. A significant project is on the way for Narromine that will support the changing face of the Orana community and provide local homes and jobs, thanks to funding announced today by the NSW Government. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said $1 million from the NSW Government’s $170 million Drought Stimulus Package will help to pay for essential infrastructure required to establish an over-55s retirement village. Funding For Safe And Secure Water In Nsw Central West

The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is investing more than $1.6 million into the Dubbo Electorate to improve water quality and security as part of its $1 billion Safe and Secure Program.   The projects include over $1.1 million for the Mudgee Water Treatment Facility upgrade, and over $500,000 to undertake a scoping study to investigate the condition of 31 bores across five Local Government Areas to improve water security.
