Upgrades to Old Dubbo Gaol precinct

Further repairs will be made to one of Dubbo’s most iconic tourism and historical sites, thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Heritage Grants program. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders announced today that $150,000 has been secured for the Old Dubbo Gaol, as part of a $173,000 allocation to Dubbo Regional Council. The other $23,000 will be split between the provision of a heritage advisory service ($12,000) and a small grants program for local items ($11,000). Saunders welcomes backdating of mouse rebate claims

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed a decision by the NSW Government to backdate rebate claims for mouse baiting programs. Deputy Premier John Barilaro announced today that households and small businesses impacted by high numbers of mice across regional NSW will be able to backdate their claims to February 1, 2021. Mitchell Highway upgrades on track to commence in late 2021

Construction of three overtaking lanes and widening of the Mitchell Highway between Dubbo and Narromine is on track to commence before the end of the year. ‘Digital Dubbo’ in the top 10 for licence downloads

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has praised the people of Dubbo for supporting the digital driver’s licence program, with the city listed in the top 10 for uptake in NSW. More than three million drivers in NSW have downloaded the technology, which equates to about 53 per cent of all licence holders.
