Resources For Regions funding welcomed

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed funding that will be provided to the Mid-Western and Narromine local government areas through the Resources for Regions Program. Mid-Western Regional Council will receive $2,608,069 from the fund while Narromine’s allocation is $1,675,604. Road projects to benefit from state and federal funding

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed news that the NSW Government has partnered with the Federal Government to fast-track work on roads in the region. Mr Saunders joined with Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton, on Thursday to announce the expansion of the Fixing Local Roads Program. More upgrades for local showgrounds

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders today announced $387,000 in further improvement works to local showgrounds as part of a NSW Government COVID-19 stimulus package. Mr Saunders said Dubbo and Mudgee showgrounds have been approved for upgrade work to improve the safety, use and condition of their infrastructure and support jobs in the local economy. “Our showgrounds play an important role at the heart of our communities so I welcome this further investment by the NSW Government,” Mr Saunders said. “This latest work follows the announcement last month of $167,326 in improvement works to Trangie, Mudgee and Gulgong showgrounds.
