Additional CCTV a boost for Wellington and Dubbo

Criminals in Wellington and Dubbo have been put on notice, with an additional 72 closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed in the Dubbo local government area. The NSW Government contributed $250,000 towards the project, which had an overall cost in excess of $800,000, and saw 44 new units installed in Wellington and 28 in Dubbo. Department of Regional NSW brings jobs to Dubbo

An office for the newly created Department of Regional NSW will be established in Dubbo, bringing up to 100 new jobs to the region and putting regional communities at the forefront of government decision making. Promoting junior golf in Wellington

After surviving the worst drought on record and the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellington Golf Club is looking for the next generation of golfers. Milestone moment in Cancer Centre construction

The Western Cancer Centre is one step closer to becoming a reality, after the first concrete was poured at the site of the $35 million facility at Dubbo Hospital. The first pour focused on the ‘bunker’ for radiation therapy services, which is a first for the Dubbo region. Zoo’s Waterhole Precinct officially opened

Environment Minister Matt Kean and Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders today officially opened Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s newest precinct the Waterhole. The Waterhole precinct, a $10.2 million project jointly funded by the NSW Government and Taronga, features an open style café with integrated animal exhibits.
