The Dubbo electorate has welcomed three new police officers to the beat, all members of the most recent class to attest from the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn.
On Monday, Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders met with probationary constables Sarah Maini, Brendan Newman and Sharn Stewart as they enjoyed their first day on the job.
Mr Saunders said the new officers will bring a range of life experience and skills to their new roles.
“We have recently seen some high-profile examples of the work done by police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District, but that work is going on 24/7 all across our electorate,” Mr Saunders said.
“These officers walk into a police district that is well-led and is doing wonderful work across a number of key crime areas. Along with their colleagues they will work hard to ensure our communities are safer.
“Each has taken a different path to get here and I thank them for making the brave decision to join the NSW Police Force. I also thank them for making the decision to live and work in our part of the world, and wish them well as they learn about what our region has to offer.”
