Western Paddlers to run a community safety course for river users

A local group of river users will be able to bring more people up to industry standard when it comes to supervising river activities, thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Local Sports Grants Program. Mindyarra Maintenance Centre takes shape

The brand new Mindyarra Maintenance Centre in Dubbo is taking shape, with structural steel to frame the new facility now being installed at the site. The new maintenance centre is part of the NSW Government’s $2.8 billion Regional Rail Project, which will see NSW TrainLink’s ageing XPT, XPLORER and Endeavour trains replaced by 29 new trains, which will be tested, maintained and serviced in Dubbo. Upgrades to Old Dubbo Gaol precinct

Further repairs will be made to one of Dubbo’s most iconic tourism and historical sites, thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Heritage Grants program. Saunders welcomes backdating of mouse rebate claims

Mitchell Highway upgrades on track to commence in late 2021

Construction of three overtaking lanes and widening of the Mitchell Highway between Dubbo and Narromine is on track to commence before the end of the year. ‘Digital Dubbo’ in the top 10 for licence downloads

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has praised the people of Dubbo for supporting the digital driver’s licence program, with the city listed in the top 10 for uptake in NSW. More than three million drivers in NSW have downloaded the technology, which equates to about 53 per cent of all licence holders.
