Female program and Sixes tournament to proceed thanks to funding

A Dubbo-based football club with plans to run a sixes tournament and a program aimed at increasing female participation will be able to do so, thanks to financial support from the NSW Government’s Local Sports Grants Program Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders joined with members of Macquarie United Football Club recently to announce almost $4750 worth of funding for the club to host the events in late 2021 and early 2022. Applications open for Stronger Country Communities Fund

Fletchers expansion to boost productivity and create jobs in Dubbo

One of Australia’s largest integrated processors and exporters of lamb and sheep meat products will be able to expand operations thanks to upgrades to the Dubbo facility made possible by the NSW Government’s Regional Job Creation Fund. Cudgegong celebrates its amazing volunteers and welcomes nine new trucks

The Cudgegong District is celebrating the official handover of nine new fire trucks to the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) that will assist volunteers in providing an even greater level of fire protection to the local community. The Geurie Goats rugby union club will be able to conduct full training sessions under lights, after securing funding to upgrade the lights at the clubs home ground.
