Dine And Discover injects more than $2 million into electorate economy

More than $2 million has been pumped into the coffers of local businesses as a result of the NSW Government’s popular Dine & Discover program. Data from the Department of Customer Service has shown the success of the rollout, which provided four $25 vouchers to every adult in NSW in an attempt to stimulate the economy in the wake of shutdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Saunders backs government investment in greyhound industry

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has backed the NSW Government’s investment in the greyhound industry. Over the weekend it was announced that $25 million in additional infrastructure funding and a new funding model for the Greyhound Welfare Integrity Commission (GWIC) has been formulated as part of this week’s state budget. New roof being installed at Narromine Courthouse

Narromine Courthouse is receiving its second makeover in as many years, with a new roof being installed. Dubbo to receive a dedicated drug court

More people eligible as Regional Seniors Travel Card gets two-year extension

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed a move to extend and expand the very popular Regional Seniors Travel Card program. It was announced on Wednesday that the program, which allows eligible seniors access to a pre-paid $250 VISA card for use on pre-booked NSW Trainlink Regional trains and coaches, fuel and taxis, will run for another two years after an initial two-year trial in 2020 and 2021. Wiradjuri Garden project officially opened

Stage 1 of the Wiradjuri Garden project in Dubbo has opened, with Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders joining representatives from Dubbo Regional Council and local Aboriginal groups for the occasion.
