New overtaking lane for safer trips on the Mitchell Highway commences

Work is now underway on a new overtaking lane on the Mitchell Highway between Narromine and Dubbo. A new $720 000 water treatment plant is providing safe and reliable access to water for Tomingley thanks to funding from the State and Federal Governments and Narromine Shire Council. Narromine’s future soccer stars will have a home they can be proud of, thanks to the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants Program. Narromine will benefit from a trial of new technology to reduce the risk of level crossing collisions between trains and vehicles in regional areas.
