The Gulgong community’s ‘Plan B’ has received a much-needed boost in time for Christmas, thanks to the NSW Government’s Community Road Safety Grants program. The Mudgee region’s status as a premier sporting destination has received a massive boost thanks to the NSW Government’s Resources for Regions program. New biosecurity signs to help protect the state’s wine supply

The NSW Government will install 65 new biosecurity signs across the State’s 16 wine regions to keep our world-class vineyards phylloxera free. Phylloxera are very small aphid-like insects that are regarded as the world’s worst grapevine pest. Community-led initiatives aimed at addressing domestic violence are taking place thanks to the 2022 Local Domestic and Family Violence Committee Grants program. Safe spaces and modern facilities to help empower domestic and sexual violence survivors and other vulnerable witnesses to give their best evidence in court have been upgraded at the Dubbo and Mudgee Courthouses.
