Renovation works almost complete at Gulgong RSL Club

Internal and external works that will enable Gulgong RSL Club to be an evacuation centre in the case of an emergency are almost complete. Replacing bridges to better connect our regional communities

An ageing bridge in the Mid-Western Regional Council local government area will be replaced under the NSW Government’s $500 million Fixing Country Bridges program to better connect regional communities and increase resilience to natural disasters. Goolma Road upgrades completed

A $1.2 million upgrade to widen the main road linking Gulgong and Wellington is now complete, providing motorists with safer and more reliable journeys through the Central West. Meroo Hall to receive some much-needed upgrades

The entrance and toilet facilities at Meroo Public Hall will be upgraded thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Crown Reserve Improvement Fund. Small business rebate scheme opens soon

A $1500 rebate scheme opening early next month will help small businesses in the region pay for NSW and local government fees and charges, such as licences, council rates, and registration fees.
