Regional buses in Bathurst and Dubbo to trial contactless payments

Using your smart phone or watch to pay for bus trips across regional NSW is a step closer with a trial for contactless payments being rolled out in Bathurst and Dubbo. The trial will start in early 2023 allowing customers to pay their fare by “tapping” their credit or debit card, phone or watch when boarding the bus. Piling work starts for foundation of New Dubbo Bridge

A key milestone for the New Dubbo Bridge is taking place this week with piling work starting on the floodplain adjacent to River Street. $45,000 boost for Dubbo Dementia Choir

An initiative that’s already making a huge difference for people with dementia has received another boost thanks to the NSW Government’s COVID-19 Community Connection and Wellbeing Program. New overtaking lane for safer trips on the Mitchell Highway commences

Work is now underway on a new overtaking lane on the Mitchell Highway between Narromine and Dubbo. Domestic violence victim-survivors are set to receive more support with a boost to critical services across the Dubbo region. Aerial fire trail inspections ‘take off’ in Dubbo

Helicopter inspections of fire trails take off from Dubbo Airport tomorrow morning (Friday) to check that trails are in good condition in preparation for the summer bushfire season.
