Planned upgrades that will deliver more than 350 additional carparking spaces to the Dubbo Hospital precinct continue as planned, with aerial images of the site showing significant work has already taken place. Rural Access Gap program continues to roll out

First sod turned on Boothenba Road upgrade

Safety on Boothenba Road is set to be improved, with the first sod turned on upgrades to the intersection that leads to the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets. Applications open for youth projects

Young people will develop the skills and knowledge they need to support future employment, education and training opportunities through a NSW Government grant program which opens today. Schools powering the Dubbo electorate

Funding will help provide basic skills to vulnerable children

A literacy and numeracy program attached to the highly-successful Project Walwaay will be able to continue, thanks to $30,000 worth of funding secured by Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders. Education and Training Out West (ETOW) has worked in conjunction with Aboriginal Community Liaison Officers (ACLOs) attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District to identify children with a desire to complete the program. A charity that provides assistance for families of country children diagnosed with cancer and other chronic life-threatening illnesses has been given a helping hand to expand operations. Scholarships open for aspiring school mental health workers
