Dubbo’s John McGrath Oval will receive a significant lighting upgrade, thanks to a grant of $683,206 from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund. Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders said the funding will provide a massive boost, particularly for touch football. “This area is incredibly well utilised by touch, and these new LED lights will provide four additional touch fields with appropriate lighting. The delivery of a new $48 million government workplace hub in Carrington Avenue Dubbo is a step closer today, with the NSW Government announcing Cox Architecture will lead the design. The NSW Government has today announced a $802,000 infrastructure investment to help provide the pipeline of skilled construction workers in the Orana region.
