The Dubbo region is home to people from a rich array of cultural backgrounds, and two groups devoted to celebrating that diversity have received a very welcome boost from the NSW Government. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has today announced $3456 for the Bangladeshi Community (BCID) in Dubbo for the purchase of marquees, chairs, tables and speakers to facilitate events. Wellington-born Aboriginal biscuit and slice maker set to grow

A Wellington-born, Aboriginal owned food manufacturer is set to substantially increase its supply of Australian native biscuits and slices to corporate and travel markets, thanks to the NSW Government’s Regional Job Creation Fund. The NSW Government is asking members of the Dubbo community to share their views on plans to build 16 high-quality social housing homes for up to 24 vulnerable residents in Dubbo. A major infrastructure boost has been confirmed for the Dubbo region with today’s design reveal of a new NSW Police Force training facility worth $35 million. The project to build three overtaking lanes on the Mitchell Highway between Narromine and Dubbo has been delayed. Widening work starts to improve safety on Goolma Road

Widening work has commenced to improve safety on Goolma Road just west of Goolma.
