New emergency communications sites for Central West and Orana

The NSW Telco Authority has delivered 300 new and enhanced radio communications sites across the state to expand the Public Safety Network (PSN) under the NSW Government’s $1.4 billion Critical Communications Enhancement Program (CCEP). Big boost for teacher training

An innovative approach to teacher training developed right here in Dubbo is now being doubled to accommodate demand from aspiring teachers. Based on the Collaborative Teacher’s Aide Pathway (CTAP) pioneered by Charles Sturt University (CSU)’s Dubbo campus, the Grow Your Own Teacher Training pilot initially aimed to support up to 100 School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs) to upskill and study teaching degrees while working in regional schools.
