New plant secures Narromine’s water future

A new water treatment plant is now operating in Narromine thanks to $2 million in funding from the NSW Government. Under its Safe and Secure program, the government provided Narromine Shire Council with the funding to secure the supply of treated water for the town. RFDS to get a good “earn” from reverse vending machine partnership

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed a partnership between Return and Earn and the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) that promises to be a winner for both. Menstrual health program to be trialled in Dubbo

Small business rebate scheme opens soon

A $1500 rebate scheme opening early next month will help small businesses in the region pay for NSW and local government fees and charges, such as licences, council rates, and registration fees. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate, which was announced in November’s Budget, will provide support for eligible NSW small businesses, sole traders and non-profit organisations. “Small business plays such a big role in our communities so it’s important that we support them to recover from the impact of the pandemic and encourage business growth by reducing costs,” he said.
