Health care in Dubbo has received another major boost with 33 graduate nurses to begin their careers at the city’s hospital this year. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the new graduates are among a record 3,600 nurses and midwives set to commence working across 130 NSW public hospitals and health services this year – with 15 of the new nurses starting at Dubbo this week. “The work that nurses and midwives do is at the very heart of the public health system, caring for people in our hospitals, at home and in our communities,” Mr Saunders said.
