Funding to provide sheltered learning space at Wambangalang

An educational partnership between Skillset Pty Ltd and the Wambangalang Environmental Education Centre will proceed thanks to funding announced by Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders. Local youth project receives funding boost

An expansion of fee-free Summer Skills training courses is now available for NSW school leavers in 2021 with more online short courses on offer, as part of the NSW Government’s Skilling for Recovery initiative. The achievements of dedicated NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) from Ballimore Rural Fire Brigade have been celebrated with the presentation of 10 long service medals and 19 Premier’s Citations for service to the community last bush fire season. Cooler Classrooms program at Dubbo South reaches tender milestone

Students and teachers at Dubbo South Public School are on the way to a brand new air conditioning system, with the tender process for the school’s Cooler Classroom Program now open. Regional students start school year with record tech reboot

Students in Dubbo will be the first to benefit from the record-breaking investment in regional digital education when they return to school this week. The upgrade is the first rollout of the NSW Government’s $365.8 million Rural Access Gap investment, providing rural and regional schools access to the future of digital technology.
