The $70.7 million Mudgee Hospital Redevelopment reached another “exciting milestone” on Wednesday with the commencement of concrete pours for the building slabs. Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders welcomed the next step in the construction, which is on track for completion in 2020. “It’s fantastic to see this work underway and the new, purpose-built facility starting to take shape here in Mudgee,” Mr Saunders said. “This project will deliver an emergency department, a general medical and surgery unit offering a range of surgical procedures, and a maternity unit so mums can continue to have their babies here, close to
