$1.1 million for bushfire-affected Mid-Western and Dubbo region farmers

Bushfire affected primary producers in the Mid-Western Region have received a much-needed boost with more than $1 million in Special Disaster Bushfire Grants from the NSW Government, while $75,000 will go to producers in the Dubbo Region. Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders said 17 out of 21 grant applications in the region have been approved, with $1,033,465.95 already distributed to Mid-Western Region landholders. 24 hour access for Mudgee PCYC Gym

Twenty-four hour access to the Mudgee PCYC gym will soon become a reality thanks to $26,417 in funding secured by Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders. The funding, obtained through the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership program, will allow the installation of a security access entry for 24 hour gym activities. Support for local government child care services

The NSW Government has committed up to $82 million over six months to support local government early childhood services who are ineligible for the Commonwealth Government’s JobKeeper payments. In addition to supporting eligible services such as Long Day Care and Out of School Hours Care, the funding will support Family Day Care Co-ordinators and support staff who are employed by local councils. Gulgong Memorial Hall is in line for a facelift thanks to a partnership between the NSW Government and Mid-Western Regional Council. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has announced that applications are now open for the highly-popular Community Building Partnership Program, unlocking $300,000 for projects in the region.
