Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo will reopen its gates on Monday 1 June. The Zoo initially closed on 25 March to ensure the safety of its guests, staff and animals and prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Patients at the emergency department and COVID-19 clinic at Dubbo Hospital will soon benefit from an $8.6 million expansion of the NSW Government’s Patient Experience Program, which is the first of its kind in Australia.
