Hospital car park hits new heights

Better access to Dubbo Hospital’s world-class services is just around the corner, with the construction of the new multi-storey car park reaching its highest point. New Wildlife Hospital at Dubbo Zoo takes shape

The construction site of Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s new Wildlife Hospital is a hive of activity with the main building for the $14 million precinct now well underway. The concrete slab for the buildings in the precinct is now complete and the structural steel and timber purlins for the main building have been installed. The roof installation is underway as well as the structural steel for the grand verandah. Fire-affected school ready for term 1

Dubbo South Public School is cleaned up and new facilities are in place ready to welcome students back this week, after a fire at the end of 2021. Create NSW funding for DRTCC

Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) has received $108,565 in funding from the Create NSW Performing Arts COVID-19 Support Package to be distributed to eligible clients who used the venue, and for the venue itself. Work begins on overtaking lane between Dubbo and Narromine

Work is starting this week on the first of three new overtaking lanes and safety upgrades on the Mitchell Highway, as part of a $32 million investment between Dubbo and Narromine. New bridge will boost productivity in Dubbo
