An artist who has made it her mission to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and dementia has been recognised as the 2022 Dubbo Electorate Woman of the Year. Dubbo to join Women’s Week celebrations

Dubbo women of all ages will be empowered during NSW Women’s Week, thanks to a collaboration of more than a dozen government and non-government organisations (NGOs). Goals scored for new netball courts in Dubbo

The construction of two new hard surface Netball Courts at Nita MGrath Ovals in Dubbo have commenced with thanks to a solid partnership between Dubbo Regional Council (DRC), The NSW State Government and the Dubbo Netball Association. The Dubbo Netball Association were successful in receiving $228,100 through the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants Program that will convert two grass courts into all-weather playing surfaces. Dubbo welcoming 31 new graduate nurses and midwives

Dubbo Hospital’s nursing ranks are set to receive a boost with 30 new graduate nurses on the way in 2022. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the first intake of nurses, as well as one new graduate midwife, has already started work, with more to arrive throughout the year. Safer journeys through busy Mitchell Highway intersection
