Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders says the government push to take rugby league to regional areas has been a success, after a crowd of almost 11,000 fans packed into Apex Oval for Sunday’s historic NRL clash between South Sydney and Penrith, which was won 56-12 by the Panthers. Mudgee Hospital redevelopment completed

Patients, visitors and staff will have improved access to the new $70.7 million Mudgee Hospital with the car park and landscaping works now complete. Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders joined hospital staff and community members to mark the official finalisation of the Mudgee Hospital redevelopment, which commenced in July 2018. Western region farmers get access to mouse baiting stations

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed an announcement that farmers will be able to have their grain treated with bromadiolone to help combat the mouse plague, with treatment sites to be opened in Dubbo and Mudgee. Cudgegong Jump Club receives funding for new amenities

A showjumping club that has recently moved location will receive assistance to help it make a fresh start. Cudgegong Jump Club moved from Mudgee to Wellington last year, and its new complex will benefit from a $15,000 grant from the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program to install new amenities. $50,000 boost for councils to streamline council processes

The NSW Government is helping residents living in the Dubbo electorate to lodge and track development applications online, with the roll out of $150,000 in funding to Dubbo Regional, Mid-Western Regional and Narromine Shire councils.
