Ceremony marks start of works at Old Dubbo Gaol

The first stage of a redevelopment to the Old Dubbo Gaol has taken place, with a ceremonial “sod turn” occurring at the site on Tuesday. Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders took part in the event, and said the planned upgrades, which will include interpretive installations, signage, landscaping works and improvements to visitor infrastructure. Project Walwaay continues to make positive changes in Dubbo

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has congratulated officers attached to the Orana Mid-Western Police District on the success of Project Walwaay. New officers welcomed to Orana Mid-Western Police District

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders has welcomed seven new police officers who have joined the ranks of the Orana Mid-Western Police District. The probationary constables attested at a private ceremony at the Goulburn Police Academy last Friday, and had an initiation at Dubbo Police Station on Monday before officially hitting the beat on Tuesday. Four will be stationed in Dubbo, with the other officers to be based at Warren, Gilgandra and Coonamble.
