The most in-demand occupations in the Dubbo electorate have been revealed with locals encouraged to get ready for a jobs boom by equipping themselves with skills and training through TAFE NSW. Call for tenders for New Dubbo Bridge

A major milestone has been reached in the New Dubbo Bridge project with tenders called for the lead construction contractor to build the Australian and New South Wales Government-funded $220 million project. Tenders will be invited on 28 April 2022 and will be open for eight weeks, allowing the best proposals to come forward, the Deputy Prime Minister said. A significant milestone has been reached in the NSW Government and Dubbo Regional Council funded multi-million dollar ‘Destination Dubbo – International Ready’ project, which includes the Old Dubbo Gaol Heritage Plaza development. $3.1 million to provide accommodation for people in Dubbo sleeping rough

People sleeping rough in Dubbo who have received accommodation and support through the NSW Government’s Together Home program will be helped into longer-term housing thanks to a more than $3.1 million partnership with Housing Plus.
