Winter holiday fun coming to Dubbo electorate

Young people in the Dubbo electorate will be able to enjoy the upcoming winter school holidays, thanks to the NSW Government’s $10 million Holiday Break Program.

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders welcomed the program and said it offers great opportunities for young people to learn new skills, meet people, and have fun at the same time.

“The Holiday Break program empowers young people to come together, step out of their comfort zone, and do activities they might otherwise not have ever thought of doing before,” Mr Saunders said.

“Young people in the Dubbo electorate can enjoy free or heavily subsidised activities, including arts and craft workshops, sports days, and social clubs, as part of the Holiday Break program.

“There are programs being run by Mid-Western Regional Council, Narromine Shire Council, PCYC, and PCYC to offer social and recreational opportunities for youth across our region.

“Applications will also open Monday 4 July for eligible regional NSW councils and not-for-profits to apply for funding to deliver events and activities during the upcoming spring holiday break, and I urge everyone eligible to apply!”
