Mudgee PCYC will receive a much needed makeover thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnerships program.
Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders said the PCYC has received $26,296.00 for a beautification project for the Sports Hall.
“Mudgee PCYC is a great community facility for people of all ages, but it’s in need of a bit of a spruce up,” Mr Saunders said
“With this funding they’ll paint over the existing brick work in the basketball court area to further brighten the interior of the court, and there’ll also be renovations in the pool area.
“We all know how much of a difference a fresh coat of paint can make, so I’m sure all patrons of the Mudgee PCYC are looking forward to the completion of this project.”
PCYC Mudgee Club Manager Railene Doherty said the funding will allow PCYC to finish their renovation of the hall.
“We have created a three stage plan for the painting and beautification of the interior of the club,” Ms Doherty said.
“We’ve been able to finish stage 1 recently, with stage 2 and 3 now able to be completed thanks to this funding.”
