Free legal diary and calendar for local seniors

Avoiding scams, planning for retirement, making a will or getting financial help are just some of the topics included in the free 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary, which local seniors can now collect at the Dubbo electorate office.

Member for the Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders is encouraging local seniors to collect a free copy of the 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary to help them plan for the year ahead.

“I’m thrilled to share that seniors right across our region can now pick up a free 2023 Legal Aid diary from my office at 1/18 Talbragar Street, Dubbo,” Mr Saunders said.

“This helpful diary provides practical tips and information about common issues impacting seniors.

“I encourage seniors to collect a diary while stocks last.”

Seniors can also pre-order a free copy of the 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Wall Calendar from the Legal Aid NSW website from 9 December.

“In this day and age, it can be hard to keep on top of everything we need to do or be across,” Mr Coure said.

“The diary and calendar speaks directly to seniors with topics and information to help them know when to take action on certain matters, or even act as a prompt to make sure their affairs are in order,” Mr Coure said.

The calendar and diary includes artwork by Aboriginal artist of Dharawal, Bidjigal and Dhungutti descent Garry Purchase.

    1. Hi Phil, give Mudgee council a call, I delivered some there recently and there will be more arriving on Wednesday!
      Cheers,
      Dugald

  1. Hi Dugald,
My husband & I live in Mudgee, also in your electorate, and we think it’s such a pity that the legal diary is only available for pick up at your Dubbo office. We’re wondering whether it might be possible for some of the diaries to be distributed in Mudgee, as there are many others like us who would appreciate a copy, and who are also conservative (namely National) voters.
We’re in our 80’s, so only ever seem to go to Dubbo for specialist treatment, as we don’t drive as much as we once did, though we are still able to manage our own personal and business affairs. Perhaps some consideration could be given to the above suggestion, as we (and many of our friends) would find the diary very handy.
    Regards,
    Robert and Wendy Craze

    1. Hi Wendy, I delivered some to the Mudgee council building so you can pick some up there – just call ahead to confirm how many there are left! There will be more being delivered there on Wednesday!
      Cheers, Dugald
