Six new probationary constables have commenced duties in the Orana Mid-Western Police District after they attested at a formal ceremony at the Goulburn Police Academy on Friday, 2nd May 2025.
Class 365 comprised of 302 new probationary constables including 221 men and 81 women.
The recruits have completed eight months of foundational training and those allocated to commands within the Dubbo LGA reported to their stations on Monday this week to complete 12 months’ on-the-job training and study.
Two of the six probationary constables will be based in Wellington and the other four based in Dubbo. Coming from Sydney, and the Central and South Coast areas, the recruits are looking forward to engaging and getting to know plenty of locals in the Dubbo and Wellington Communities
