The entries are in and the winner of my 2025 Christmas Card Competition has been decided!
First place goes to Haniyya (Age 12 – Central West Leadership Academy), while second and third have been awarded to Addison (Age 11 – Mudgee Public School) and Skyli (Age 10 – St John’s Primary School, Dubbo), respectively.
This year saw an impressive 716 entries as children from around the electorate showed off their talent and creative flair to depict their ultimate Christmas feast. Entries featured many themes, including large family gatherings, classic Chrissy characters, pizza shaped Christmas trees, and even a Dugald Saunders corflute!
From fast food favourites and choccy milk from the servo, to the more traditional roast or prawns on the barbie, there is no doubt the kids of the Dubbo Electorate have their own opinion on what they think should really feature on the dining room table this Christmas.
A huge thank you and well done to everyone who entered the competition this year; it’s once again shown the breadth of talent, creativity and imagination we have right across our region.
