10 days left to apply for Community Building Partnerships

Community groups, not-for-profits and councils in the Dubbo Electorate still have 10 days left to apply for the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnerships Program.

Member for the Dubbo Electorate Dugald Saunders said the program will unlock $300,000 for a range of projects delivering social, environmental and recreational outcomes.

“If you have a project in mind that you think will benefit your community, whether it’s infrastructure, accessible features, equipment or refurbishment, it’s not too late to apply for this grant program,” Mr Saunders said.

“Local sports clubs, charities, schools and museums are just some of the groups that benefit from this fund.

“In the current round of the program I have recently announced funding support for a range of different groups, including equipment for the Rawsonville Pony Club to maintain its arena, security upgrades to allow the Mudgee PCYC gym to become accessible 24/7, and upgrades to the drinking fountains at Trangie Central School.”

Applications for the next round close at 5pm on Friday 12 June 2020.

Applicants must read the program guidelines to ensure their club or organisation and proposed project are eligible.
